General Dentistry

General dental services focus on monitoring the development and health of the mouth. That is done through routine examinations and cleanings, x-rays, preventative treatments, and education. Our role is to provide patients with the knowledge and tools he or she needs to keep their smile healthy.

We recommend that patients of all ages see us regularly every six months for check-ups. These check-ups are tailored based on the patient's age, medical history, and needs. For instance, with children, we monitor the development of the jaw and the emerging of teeth. We teach children how to brush and floss properly, the importance of good nutrition, and strive to make our appointments fun and relaxed.

As children get older, we may recommend certain services such as orthodontics, wisdom tooth removal, etc.

Cosmetic Dentistry

While the primary focus of cosmetic dentistry is enhancing the smile's appearance, many cosmetic dental procedures are also linked to improving oral health – which is a win, win solution. These are some of the most common cosmetic dental services we offer:

Porcelain Veneers – Porcelain veneers are used to cover the front of natural teeth and alter their appearance. The thin strips are custom-made to cover a wide range of imperfections such as closing gaps, minor misalignment, uneven lengths, improper symmetry, and more. Depending on the need, veneers can be used on a single tooth or several teeth.

Tooth-colored fillings – Even with diligent brushing, sometimes cavities occur. Having them filled does not have to compromise the appearance of the smile. Tooth-colored fillings are made of a composite resin material that is matched to the tooth's enamel to ensure it blends in seamlessly. Because the fillings are placed directly into the tooth, composite resin fillings are more conservative than alternatives such as silver amalgam fillings.
