Tips to keep your partial dentures healthy

Tips for Valplast denture care may include:

• Handle your Valplast partial with care. It is delicate. Use care when cleaning and handling to avoid dropping it.
• Clean it daily by brushing and rinsing it but do not use toothpaste. Toothpaste is abrasive. It can damage the partial and create microscopic scratches in which food and plaque can deposit. Rinse it after snacks and meals. Daily brushing with a soft-bristled brush helps remove food particles and prevents stains.
• Use a denture cleaner. Brush and clean your partial with hand soap or a mild dishwashing liquid. Do not use household cleaners as they may be abrasive and cause damage.
